There are three current Altadis promotional offers we are aware of, a Montecristo Platinum sampler for $9.95 for 3 cigars (now expired), a Playboy sampler for $7.95 for 3 cigars (expires September 30, 2009) and a Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real sampler for $7.95 for 4 cigars (expires December 31, 2009). Altadis is one of the large cigar manufacturers (like General Cigar) whose stable includes quite a few brands and they pursue a pretty aggressive marketing strategy with respect to promos. All prices shown include shipping. Unfortunately these promo offers are restricted to one per household for each deal. Generally these are slow to ship and may take up to 6 weeks for arrival but you'll be glad you ordered em when they do finally show up.

Upmann Connoisseur Cabinet No. 50's, 2 Playboy Double Coronas, 2 Romeo y Julieta Vintage VII's and 2 Por Larrañaga Toros. With an MSRP of nearly $75, this is quite a value at $9.95. In order to qualify for the heavily discounted sampler you must purchase one of approximately 100 different Hoyo products featured. To narrow it down a little bit, I'm going to recommend two that I feel provide the best overall value when ordering: the 10ct Hoyo de Monterrey Governor (6.12 x 50 in EMS or oscuro for $25.95) or the 10ct Hoyo de Monterrey Dark Sumatra Espresso (4.5 x 50 in maduro for $23.95).
